NothingLoads — Creator Trailer Kit v2 — Household Continuity
What ships from this doc: the /partners page copy, the signature demo format, nine trailer scripts (three 15s, two 30s, two Shorts, two mid-roll reads), the creator welcome email, and the media one-pager. Everything below the ground rules is final-draft, creator- or customer-facing copy. This kit supersedes /root/nothingloads/docs/trailer-kit.md (the small-business rescue product). The product facts here match docs/v2/story-bible.md.
INTERNAL TONE KEY — never customer-facing. The register is Se7en/Fight Club evidence-locker grunge crossed with Mission: Impossible countdown tension, T2's machine-that-never-sleeps (here, the household that keeps working), and Titanic's unsinkable assumption — five bars, and nothing loads. Vibes only. No film titles, characters, or quoted lines ever appear in copy, scripts, captions, or overlays. This blockquote is the only place those names exist.
Decisions this doc makes (flagging so they're visible, not asking permission): payouts run monthly by the 10th for the prior month (carried from the v1 partner terms); partners get the Offline Family Kit comped so demos show real pages; the family exercise in Script B2 is called a "test" on screen, never a "drill" — the story bible reserves "drill" for Core's measured outage; the press file lists Core with no price and no date; the /trailer SPECIMEN loop contents are specified in section 0 for whoever builds it.
0. Ground rules that ship with every kit
Placeholders. yourhandle appears throughout — creators replace it with their approved handle. Their live link is always nothingloads.com/r/yourhandle. Square brackets [like this] are the creator's own true fills — real answers, real reactions, never scripted claims. [your real score] means exactly that: the score you show is the score you got. Nobody reshoots for a scarier number, and nobody invents one.
Downloads — the pack
20 PNGs — the stamps, the broken ring, title and end cards. Transparent where it matters, 1080×1920 and 1080×1080.
Vertical 1080×1920 MP4. The five failures, the broken ring, the typed reveal.
Vertical 1080×1920 MP4 of the watermarked reel. Don't crop the watermark.
Vertical 1080×1920 MP4. The ring filling and breaking, the First Hour tape, the stamped exhibits.
Best b-roll is still your own: load nothingloads.com/?movie=1&tempo=2 on your phone and screen-record the open at half speed.
B-roll. Two approved sources:
1. nothingloads.com/trailer — a demo reel built for filming. It loops: the Check being answered prompt by prompt, the Ready Score ring filling and breaking (and one 85+ run where it closes clean), the First Hour timeline typing itself under its SIMULATION — BUILT FROM YOUR ANSWERS label, the five-bar glyph over a field of stalled spinners, kit pages turning — fridge card, wallet cards, the dependency audit — and the phone-card generator with its stays-on-this-device line in frame. The whole reel is watermarked SPECIMEN — SAMPLE HOUSEHOLD. Don't crop the watermark. It's the honesty doing its job. Vertical cuts of each segment are downloadable at nothingloads.com/partners/kit.
2. The creator's own phone, house, and family — including taking the real Check on camera. Real reactions beat scripts every time.
Overlay style. Warm-white mono type on charcoal, typewriter register. Hard cuts. Stamps hit, they don't fade. Amber is reserved for two things: the ring and the end-card link. Every score shown wears its ESTIMATED label in frame. Every First Hour frame wears SIMULATION.
Honesty rules for creators (we enforce these):
- The Ready Score is estimated and self-reported — today, your score is what you told them. When you say a score out loud, say "estimated" in the same breath. When you show the First Hour, its simulation label stays in frame.
- The demo is always your own choice on your own phone, and you say so. Never present an outage as news, never imply one is coming, and never tie one to a war or an election. If you tell an outage story, it happened to you. Otherwise run the shut-off demo — that's what it's for.
- The only deadline that exists is real: a report deletes itself in seven days, enforced on the server. Quote it straight. Don't add urgency we didn't build — the kit is digital and it is not running out.
- The score you show is the score you got. If it comes back 85 or higher, post it anyway — the ring closes clean, the product tells you you're genuinely close, and "they didn't try to scare me" is the most convertible sentence we own.
- Blur your family's real phone numbers, addresses, and meeting spots. The kit's cards are generated in your browser and never sent to us — keep them off the internet yourself too. Kids on camera are your call and your platform's rules; hands, paper, and a marker carry the scene fine.
- We're not a survivalist brand. No camo, no bunkers, no talk of society ending. The buyer is a family with five bars and a dinner to make. The villain is dependence, never people.
- Disclose on every post. Details per script below. This is the rule with teeth.
2. The signature demo — the shut-off
*(Every script in this kit is built on this format. It's the whole channel in one move: the creator breaks their own phone's internet, on camera, and lets normal life fail in order.)*
The setup — 30 seconds, on camera
Settings app, in frame. Wi-Fi off. Mobile data off. Not airplane mode — airplane mode takes your bars away, and the bars are the point. Done right, the status bar keeps five bars the entire demo while nothing behind them works. Say what you did: "My phone. My choice. Nothing's wrong with the network — I'm simulating the day something is."
Household version: unplug the router on camera instead, and have everyone's phones already set to no data. Same result, whole house at once.
The attempts — let normal life fail in rising order
Tap each one, hold on the real spinner, move on. Never mock up an error screen — real spinners only. They're everywhere anyway.
1. Maps — the route to school. The spinner. The gray grid.
2. The banking app — your money, behind a login that can't log in.
3. The school portal — the pickup change, the closure notice, unreachable.
4. Cloud docs — the file with the insurance numbers. It lives somewhere else.
5. The memory test — close your contacts and try to write three phone numbers from memory. This is the beat that hurts.
6. The smart doorbell — offline. The camera on your own front door.
7. The group chat — stuck on sending. The place your people actually are.
What still works — say it
Calls and plain text messages still go through in this version, and your saved contacts are still on the phone. Say so if it comes up. The gap isn't the phone — it's every number that lives in a group chat, a search result, or someone else's phone, and every task that quietly became a webpage. We don't overclaim. The true version is bad enough.
The turn
Turn the wi-fi back on, on camera, and say the line: "I had to turn the internet back on to find out how much I need it." Then run the free Check at nothingloads.com, on screen, and answer honestly. React to your real score. The ring fills — and breaks where your house breaks. If you're 85+, it closes clean; post that version proudly.
The close — always calm
Your gaps, listed in order. The report's seven-day expiry, quoted straight, because it's real. Your link. No panic in the last five seconds — the last thing they see is a person who knows what to fix.
Production notes
- Screen-record the phone; film your face separately; split-screen in the edit.
- One continuous take of the attempts beats a montage for trust. Cut for pace, keep the toggles and at least two full spinners uncut.
- Keep the five bars in frame as often as possible. The bars are the thesis.
- Keep the
ESTIMATEDlabel in frame whenever your score is, and theSIMULATIONlabel whenever the First Hour is.
3. Trailer scripts
Stamped on every script below, no exceptions: the demo is your own phone, your own choice, and you say so — never an outage presented as news, never a war, never an election, never a date. Say "estimated" when you say a score; keep "SIMULATION" in frame with the First Hour. The only deadline you may quote is the real one — reports delete in seven days. B-roll is nothingloads.com/trailer (watermarked SPECIMEN — don't crop it) or your own real demo. CTA always carries your link: nothingloads.com/r/yourhandle. Disclosure per script, and #ad is the first word of every caption — before the fold, not buried in the tags.

3.4 YouTube mid-roll integrations — 45–60 seconds
Written to be read aloud, conversational. Brackets are the creator's own true fills — never scripted claims. On screen: talking head, with an optional screen-share of their own real Check while they talk. Lower-third PAID PARTNERSHIP during the disclosure sentence; lower-third link during the CTA. Disclosure is spoken at the top of the read, the video's "includes paid promotion" box is checked, and the description's link line starts with "Ad:".

Segue in (spoken):
"Quick break — and for once the ad is on topic. Disclosure first: NothingLoads sponsors this part, and I earn a commission if you buy through my link. The part I want you to try is free."
Before I said yes to them, I ran their demo on myself. Turned off my wi-fi and my mobile data — kept full bars — and tried to run a normal Tuesday from my phone. Maps, no. The banking app, no. The doc with our insurance numbers, no. And I couldn't tell you three phone numbers without the contacts app. Their free Check took me about three minutes. It walks you through a simulated outage, asks what your house could actually still do, and hands you a Ready Score — labeled estimated, because it's built from your own answers, with the method one tap away. Mine was [your real score], and the report deletes itself in seven days — a real deadline, not a painted one. If you want the fix in a box, the Offline Family Kit is seventy-nine dollars, printed at home tonight: a fridge card, wallet cards for the kids, and phone cards you generate in your own browser — what you type never leaves your device.

SCRIPT M2 — 45–60s · YouTube mid-roll — "Five Bars at Mom's" (adult kids of aging parents; tech, family, general channels)
True-fill rule: this read assumes the parent story is yours. If it isn't, swap in the relative it's true for — or run M1.
Segue in (spoken):
"One more thing before the next section. Disclosure out loud: this is a paid partnership with NothingLoads, and I get a commission on kits bought through my link."
My mom's phone always shows five bars, and five bars means nothing. [Your true fill — e.g., "Her internet drops a few times a year,"] and when it does, that phone can't pull up directions, can't open the bank, can't find any number she didn't memorize decades ago — which, honestly, puts her ahead of me. So we ran the free NothingLoads Check together, on speaker. Three minutes. Plain questions — could you two reach each other, could she pay, does anyone know where to meet. It hands you a Ready Score, estimated, built from your own answers, and a report that deletes itself in seven days — a real deadline, not a marketing one. Hers came back [her real score]. I printed her the kit the same night — seventy-nine dollars. The fridge card's on her fridge, a wallet card's in my dad's wallet, and the phone cards got made right in the browser. Nothing she typed went anywhere, which is the part that finally made her comfortable.
CTA line (spoken):
"If your folks live on their own, run it with them this week. Nothingloads dot com, slash R, slash [yourhandle] — link's below."
Segue out (spoken):
"Okay. Back to it."

4. Creator welcome email
From: partners@nothingloads.com
Subject: You're in. Your link, the kit, and the one rule.
[First name] —
Welcome to NothingLoads. You're approved. Everything you need is below.
YOUR LINK
nothingloads.com/r/[handle]
It sets a 60-day cookie, and every report opened through it is stamped with your handle — so a viewer who takes the Check on one device and buys on another still credits you. Last link clicked wins.
THE MONEY, AGAIN
The Offline Family Kit is $79. You keep 40 percent — $31.60, rounded to $32 a sale because the rounding always goes to you. Success-only: you're paid when a kit sells, not per click or per Check. Payouts run monthly, by the 10th for the prior month, once the refund window clears. Refunds claw back. No cap, no minimum. And when Core ships — the appliance, the one page in the house that always loads — founding partners see its commissions first. It isn't built yet, so we're not putting numbers on it. We don't do that.
THE KIT
nothingloads.com/partners/kit — nine scripts with timestamped beats, paste-ready captions, the demo format, and vertical b-roll. The reel at nothingloads.com/trailer is watermarked SPECIMEN — SAMPLE HOUSEHOLD; leave the watermark alone, it's the honesty working. Your own copy of the Offline Family Kit is on us — grab it through your dashboard and show real pages, not mockups. Just blur your family's actual numbers.
BEFORE YOU FILM
Run the demo on yourself. Wi-Fi off, mobile data off — not airplane mode, you want to keep your bars — then try to do a normal hour. Then take the Check for real and show the score you actually got. When you say a score, say "estimated" in the same breath, and keep the SIMULATION label in frame with the First Hour. Never present an outage as news, and never pin one to a war or an election. The true version converts fine.
THE ONE RULE
Disclose. #ad as the first word of every caption, spoken out loud in longer formats, platform label on. It's a federal rule with teeth — and it's also the house style: we label our estimates, you label us. Hiding it is the one thing partners get removed for.
Send your first video to this address when it's live. A person reads everything here, and the day your first kit sells you'll hear from us.
